In a historic move, more than 150 works of pop art king Andy Warhol, as well as important works by Warhol good friend Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Jean-Michael Basquiat, and Steve Kaufman degree in an unprecedented exhibition entitled "Writing a picture LP, write within a picture" in Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art from northeastern Slovakia, Europe only Andy Warhol Museum and the hometown of Warhol's parents - a region where pop art seed previously banned by the communist regime.

STEVE KAUFMAN

On February 12 2010, the world lost Steve Alan Kaufman, one of the largest U.S.
Pop artist and a generous humanitarian. Steve Kaufman, former assistant to Andy Warhol, died from heart complications. His memory, and his paintings will live forever. Her warm smile and generous heart, his ability to make a great story, and his uncanny knack to say every day is an adventure filled with humor, drama and laughter - Steve Kaufman is a legend. His paintings have found their way into the homes and hearts of so many, getting a true American pop art experience.
